Physician Leadership Rooted in Community.
Leading the Way in Women’s Health
Trailblazer Women’s Wellness is a physician-led women’s health education and consulting organization, based out of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Our organization was founded by two board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists committed to advancing health equity and improving long-term outcomes for women—particularly Black women disproportionately impacted by obesity and chronic disease.
Our work centers on the intersection of metabolic health, reproductive health, and preventive medicine. Through keynote speaking, institutional education, and strategic collaboration, we partner with healthcare systems, universities, nonprofits, and mission-aligned organizations to deliver evidence-based solutions that drive measurable impact.
More than 80% of Black women in the United States experience overweight or obesity, contributing to higher rates of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, PCOS, infertility, maternal morbidity, and certain gynecologic cancers. Addressing these disparities requires structured education, culturally informed engagement, and physician-informed strategy.
Trailblazer Women’s Wellness was created to meet that need.
Our Mission
To advance women’s health through physician-led education, strategic collaboration, and evidence-based approaches that address obesity-related and reproductive health disparities.
Our Vision
A future where women, particularly Black and brown women, have access to the knowledge, tools, and support necessary to achieve sustainable, long-term health outcomes.
